2. Definitions

  • "Connex," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Connex and its owners, affiliates, and operators.

  • "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity using the platform, including students and companies.

  • "Services" refers to the features and functionalities provided by Connex.

 

3. Eligibility


  For Students:

  • You must be at least 15 years old to register on Connex. If you are under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of your profile and resume.

 

For Companies:

  • Companies registering with Connex must provide accurate business information, including company name, registration details, and a valid email address.

  • Internships posted on Connex must comply with applicable labor laws and standards.

 

4. Account Registration and Security

  1. Users must create an account to access certain features of Connex.

  2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and update it promptly if changes occur.

  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

  4. Notify Connex immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account.

 

5. Use of the Platform

  1. Connex provides tools for students to apply for internships and companies to post opportunities.

  2. Users agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  3. Misuse of the platform, including uploading false information, spamming, or engaging in fraudulent activity, is strictly prohibited.

  4. Connex reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

 

6. Responsibilities of Students

  1. Ensure that the information in your profile and resume is truthful and accurate.

  2. Apply only for internships that match your qualifications and interests.

  3. Adhere to the specific terms and conditions set by the company offering the internship.

  4. Respond promptly to communications from companies regarding applications.

 

7. Responsibilities of Companies

​

  1. Ensure that all internship postings are accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable labor laws, including any stipulations regarding paid and unpaid internships.

  2. Treat student applicants with professionalism and respect.

  3. Use the platform solely for recruitment purposes and not for any other activities, including unsolicited marketing.

  4. Maintain the confidentiality of student information and use it only for evaluating internship applications.

 

8. Fees and Payments

  1. Connex may charge fees for certain services, such as premium listings or subscriptions. Such fees will be clearly communicated before payment is required.

  2. Users agree to pay all applicable fees on time. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

  3. Payments made are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

9. Intellectual Property

  1. All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the platform are the property of Connex or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

  2. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the platform for personal or business purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from Connex.

  1. Connex acts as a facilitator between students and companies and does not guarantee internship placements or the quality of internships provided by companies.

  2. We are not responsible for any disputes or issues that may arise between students and companies.

  3. To the extent permitted by law, Connex is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

 

12. Termination

  1. Connex reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

  2. You may terminate your account by contacting Connex at connexhelpmy@gmail.com. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding obligations under these Terms.

 

13. Changes to the Terms

 

Connex reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the "Effective Date" updated. Continued use of the platform after changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

14. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
